Prior to the Jabra Elite 7 there had been a lot of experimentation in design with reducing the number of visual parts. While the ID calld for less visible parts to clean up the quite busy 75t, there wasn’t really a good mechanical solution for it. Yet this look prevailed in the 7 series, but mechanically it wasn’t solved properly until the next generation came along where the sleeve was introduced from the ID side of things a mechanical, assembly, and quality solution as well.
